THE TRAGEDY…….
In our newsletter (1st July) we wrote in our Horses To Follow File.
JEUNEALISTIC in the same race finished “eleventeenth”, went to the line hard held and would have been right in the finish (if not won). Similar class next start over a mile he should win.
Well, in Morphettville race 5 on Saturday he went around in similar class over 1550 @$25.00 – he jumped to the front controlled the race and kicked 3 lengths clear as they straightened for home, still 2 lengths in front at the 100m mark and looked home only to be run down in the very last stride. (A special thanks’ to race caller Terry McAuliffe, who after 25 years of calling has not learned about the “early crow” calling him home at the 50m mark). What is it they say? “That’s racing”. We are very confident that for those of you who continue to follow the “Horses to Follow File” will find themselves backing plenty of winners!
